Centers for Disease Control and Prevention presented the nutrition report, and they found the result as per their analysis that out of the total US population, 10% of the population is facing nutrition deficiencies. The nutritional deficiencies are differentiated by various parameters such as by gender, by age, and race/ethnicity. There are several reasons that the body may not fulfill the required nutrients. Health problems like kidney or celiac related disease may hamper the immersion of essential minerals and vitamins from the food. Other reasons may be by the side effect of some medicines, or maybe the effect of a preventive diet, like veganism and some common unhealthy foods.

The regular healthy diet is enough to supply nutrition to the body for its best functioning. Some people require a higher amount of specific vitamins for the development of their body and disease prevention, and it is all depending upon their age and overall fitness. Nutritional deficiencies may lead to some disorders such as scurvy, anemia, rickets, etc. Some most common nutritional deficiencies are Vitamin B6 – which is most important for the brain development and immune system among unborn babies, infants, as well as toddlers. Chicken, potatoes, fish, bananas, and chickpeas are some common foods that contain this important nutrient. Iron is an important mineral which is found in every cell of the body. The body requires iron to make oxygen-carrying proteins hemoglobin, found in the red blood cells, and myoglobin, found in muscles.
