COVID-19 affecting major organs; stroke dying young, middle aged

Doctors in the US have sounded alarmed about people who died of stroke due to coronavirus in their 30s and 40s. The study said there has been a surge in strokes and records of strokes in other hospitals in communities hit hard by the novel coronavirus-are the latest twist in the growing understanding of the disease that it causes.
The analyzes say that patients suffering from coronavirus often undergo the most deadly form of stroke. Known as large vessel occlusions, or LVOs, since they are in the main blood-supplying arteries, they can obliterate large parts of the brain that are responsible for movement, speech and decision making in one blast.
Many investigators believe strokes in COVID-19 patients could be a direct product of blood problems that are producing clots all over some people’s bodies.
