Threat of rapid corona spread in Afghanistan

Afghanistan’s Health Ministry said on Sunday (May 3) that 500 people in the capital Kabul were tested for corona virus infection, of which more than 150 were found infected. This has increased the possibility of rapid spread of Corona virus in the country.

Ministry spokesman Wahid Mayar described these infections in Kabul as worrisome and said that people would have to stay indoors to slow the spread of the virus. He said that more investigations are being done of the corona virus, which is expected to increase the number of infections in the country.

Currently more than 2,700 people have been found infected with the corona virus in Afghanistan, of which 85 people have died. Lockdown is in force in Kabul and many other cities. More than 2.5 lakh refugees have returned from Afghanistan to Iran, which is the worst affected country in the region by the Corona virus.
