Google produces quantum computers, millions of times faster than supercomputers

Google has developed a quantum computing chip that will easily outperform even modern computers in terms of speed. Gagool has named it Quantum Superimacy. Google said that this new chip will take only 200 seconds to do the work that the world’s fastest supercomputer takes 10 thousand years to do. Google CEO Sundar Pichai described the new chip as a major achievement.

The first report of Google’s ‘Quantum Supremacy’ was published last month by the Financial Times. On Wednesday, Google published a new article in the popular scientific journal Nature. In this, Google revealed that it has created a new 54 qubit processor which is named Sycamore.

Google has said that the company has worked hard to achieve this milestone and after almost two decades it has been successful. Sightinst had been working on it since 1980.Commenting on the discovery, computer researcher William Oliver of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology said, “Quantum superiority over traditional algorithms (algorithm) is a major achievement in the world’s top supercomputers.” Google CEO Sundar Pichai on Wednesday tweeted that I am proud of this great achievement of the team.
