Sensex closed after 6 days of market rise below 34 thousand marks

Similarly, the Nifty climbed to 10176.20 while the Nifty closed at 10,035.55. The midcap index closed at 12,340.65, up 37.96 points, or 0.31 per cent, from the previous session and the Smallcap index gained 142.24 points or 1.24 per cent to 11,570.65.
