Apple enables all the functions of the PS4 controller in iOS 14

WWDC 2020 continues online with numerous sessions for developers reporting what’s new in iOS 14 that was not said in the inaugural keynote. Among these new details that have been revealed, the compatibility of the gamepad with iPhone and iPad stands out. In this article we tell you all the details that have been recently known on this topic.
Until now it was possible to connect a PS4 or Xbox controller to one of our devices, but they were somewhat limited. This will no longer be the case as developers will be able to develop games with control in mind. Dual Shock touchpad and LED light compatibility as well as Xbox Elite levers have been covered . Both motion sensors including controls and haptic response zones have also been included in this compatibility. This is undoubtedly a great novelty for all those who love video games through command as they will receive a much more complete answer.

This developer session has clearly explained how you can add support for the latest gamepad. In the conference notes we have included the adaptive controller as the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Developers will now learn how they can use the Game Controller in conjunction with Core Haptics in order to receive much more forceful responses from the user.
