Kanye West met Jared Kushner as the 2020 election location for the rapper

Entertainer and Trump supporter Kanye West recently met with White House adviser and President’s son-in – law Jared Kushner, a source familiar with the meeting said Wednesday as the entertainer pursues his efforts to appear on the November presidential ballot. The New York Times, which first reported the gathering, said it took place last weekend in Colorado and also included Ivanka daughter of President Donald Trump, Kushner ‘s wife and another top White House adviser.

The Washington Post revealed last week that West’s campaign has so far submitted applications to appear on the presidential election ballot in 10 U.S. states and that Republican activists, including those with ties to Trump, have been active in attempts to support his candidacy in at least five of them, including Arkansas, Ohio and Wisconsin, among them.

West, 43, one of the president ‘s biggest celebrities and most influential Black backers, visited Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign, and again at the White House in 2018 wearing a red “Make America Great” hat. He told Forbes last month he was “taking off the red hat.” Last month, Trump told Fox News that West “can’t” lose its backing, adding: “He’ll always be with us.”
